Petrie Boot Care

The Petrie Boot Care Kit is a complete care package for your Petrie riding boots and will help you protect and keep your boots looking like new. With the proper care and maintenance, your Petrie boots can offer years of riding enjoyment. After each use, clean your boots with Petrie's boot cleaner. Unlike ordinary saddle soap, Petrie offers a cleaner with added nutrients designed specifically to remove salt residue left by sweat. Special care should be taken to thoroughly clean the areas of the boot that come in contact with the horse, as prolonged exposure to sweat and salt can cause leather to dry and crack. After cleaning, rub in Petrie's boot cream to nourish and protect the leather. Once dry, buff to a smooth shine with the polishing cloths. A light layer of boot cream can also be applied on the outside of your boots before riding to help guard from sweat and other environmental influences.
